My experience in being a part of the technical team of Trinity

Technically, the technical team is a bunch of tech savvy people who prefer working backstage. This year, we had a female member in our team too, which is contrary to the popular myth that it is only the males who are the gizmo geeks.
We started off our work by designing flexes, banners and brochures. We used Photoshop, a seemingly complex but actually simple software.
Not having our seniors Photoshop files made it really difficult for us as we had to start from scratch, figure out dimensions and resolutions for ourselves.
We made sure that our Photoshop files are backed up and saved for our juniors to edit and we hope they'll make good use of it!

Editing the website was the toughest part, since none of us knew how to do it. We were really excited to acquire this new skill. We eventually learned it all through a lot of Youtube tutorials.
That's the awesome thing about being a part of Trinity, you will improve yourself in areas you are good at and you build yourself up in areas which are not your expertise, for example, web designing.

We make sure the projectors, laptops and mikes are in place before the event. We control the lights, sounds and other gadgets during the event. We ascertain that there are no "technical difficulties".

Organizing an event is hard work, but it is also a lot of fun. You never know who you might end up being friends with. Running here and there to find the proper wire and to get the work done is also enjoyable.
Anyone who has ever got their hands on a Walkie Talkie knows how cool it is to be using one. The amusement of having one is not over-exaggerated.

During Trinity, you master how to complete tasks in a very short period of time, you figure out how to be patient with yourself and with others who are working as hard as you are.
After all your obligations are met with and all the events are almost completed, it breaks your heart to know that Trinity is about to get over and the opportunity to organize this wonderful event is never coming back.
You find yourself sitting on one of the last rows, exhausted, looking at the auditorium covered in beautiful blue flexes and thinking to yourself with pride, "This is our work". That is a moment to live for.
