His fallacy is that he never speak about what he wants

Sometimes what we want is not in alignment with what we can have and the knowledge kills our voice. That is why we suppress what we desire. It is a fallacy indeed. Leads to misunderstandings and false assumptions. Later on, you find yourself wishing you spoke up so that they knew. Often it is too late by then.
