Was I scared? Yes.
Terrified. Discouraged. Demotivated.
It takes A LOT to get out of a negative phase. I was there two weeks now.
I started writing a gratitude journal - One thing that I am thankful about.
A self esteem journal - One thing about myself that I like.
I started exercising again.
I listened to motivational videos. Even when it did not touch my heart. I listened to them because I needed the positive words.
I spoke to positive people - Riya, Rajesh, Mufi, Akki, Sue.
It's crazy how many times they had to repeat themselves for me to get out of my head and listen.
"It's a good score. It's a good score. It's a good score."
"It'll work out. It'll work out. It'll work out."
I wrote down positive things on a piece of paper.
Today, finally after a week of struggle. I am not scared anymore.
If you are in that negative phase, I know it's hard to get out of it. But keep working on it, Keep listening to the good. Write positive things down. Pray. Pray real hard. You'll get out of it, like I did.
But don't just sit down and cry about it. Persistence.
I feel a lot better today. I studied, I blogged. I inspired one person.
